The roll top features a locking, tambour door with canvas backing that glides smoothly across the wooden tracks. Interior area features two sets of hanging cubbie drawers and mail compartments. Mail slots are built into the left and right sides.

Drawer configuration includes two letter/legal hanging file drawers, four box drawers, center drawer with pencil tray and convenient pull-out writing surfaces over each drawer pedestal. Top drawers feature removable solid birch dividers. Bottom filing drawers also feature removable solid birch dividers and adjustable file bars, to convert from letter to legal size file folders. All drawers are made of solid birch and feature French dovetail connections plus staples for added strength and glued drawer bottoms. All drawers feature quality ball-bearing drawer glides.
